Jennifer Tanner

Jennifer grew up in the Central Valley of California around many diverse cultures. She moved to Utah to attend Brigham Young University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish after training to be a junior high and high school teacher. As a longtime champion of immigrant rights, Jen has a deep understanding of immigration policy issues and regularly works with both clients and our government to advocate for immigrant causes.

After working with Brian part time from 2011-2015, Jen is happy to be back as our full time office manager. In addition to immigration related matters, she advocates for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, as well as autism community issues (inspired by her oldest son). She is a proud mother of four young children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, walks with her dog, salsa music, watching NPR Tiny Desk Concerts on YouTube, and exploring the Salt Lake area with Brian and the kids.
